“I see you”

I’m 63 years old and my little daddy started a bedtime routine with me close to 60-years-ago..
He would come in and set on my bed… listen to me say my prayers and then ask me this l.
What was one thing today that made you smile?
I would like to share mine from today.
Years ago I captured a little blond haired boy play junior high sports… later he stayed busy in high school sports.
He never failed to give me good “Action” shots… especially in Basketball.
That boy could JUMP!!!
Late this afternoon, this handsome, now a grown man walked into the same gym he played in. He was walking beside his beautiful wife which had their precious baby girl on her hip.
After they were in and seated… like the gentleman he is… he went back down the stands and out the door and quickly returned soon with a stadium seat for his wife.
This may not mean much to others… but it blessed my heart.
It’s hard to refrain from saying three simple words to many alumni… “I SEE YOU”
Just to tell others how proud I am for the love and respect that I witness in their life… and how they have grown up to be amazing young men and women.
… as I turn in tonight… this is one thing I can say, Jay Hughes brought a smile.
God is so Good!!
